For those who are look to jailbreak, the good news is that both the earlier and recent update did not fix the security hole used by the evasi0n jailbreak utility. Almost immediately after iOS 6.1.2 was released, the folks at team evad3rs had released an updated tool for jailbreaking an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad running Apple’s iOS 6.1.2.  Evasi0n 1.4 for Mac, Linux, or Windows can be downloaded at evasi0n.com. The jailbreak is compatible with all iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini models running iOS 6.0 through 6.1.2.
